snow, snow, snow...

although my relationship with alaska is packed with ambivalence and it's hard for me to understand willingly choosing to live in zero degree weather for months on end... 

i really do love it here. and it really is stunning here. the mountains scream majesty and the snow sparkles like diamonds and the cold air takes my breath away (literally). it's good to be home. with my family. in the snow. here's a few views...
