sister time

I love my little sister. She is one of the most amazing women I know. Playful, adventurous, authentic and bravely connected to her heart in a way that I admire and hope to be during this season of my life. She came to visit me in early March. I never posted pictures. We moved right after, and other friends came to visit, and work has been busy, and I turned over a decade...

I miss her. Living far away from family is harder this year than last year. Skype is amazing and I'm so grateful to live in this decade of technology rather than ones before, but nothing is the same as sitting across a table over a cup of coffee connecting with the people you love. We did a lot of that, amidst all the "doing" and "seeing" we did in Cambodia, like:

Touring the temples in Siem Reap...
Going to dinner theater with traditional Khmer dancing
Visiting the Royal Palace... and running through their sprinklers.

Playing a lot... and no, she did not drive my moto mom, I promise.

We laughed and cried and spent hours at Brown coffee, and without even knowing it, by bringing her heart she reminded me things about mine that I've forgotten. She is amazing. Xoxo
